LeBron has firsthand knowledge of the problems with the school system in his home town and decided to open up a new public school with an outstanding purpose and model. To educate the kids and parents of low-income and underserved communities. According to the website “I PROMISE School will be more than a 1st – 8th grade academic institution. It will infuse APS’s rigorous curriculum with a STEM, hands-on, problem-based learning focus with LJFF’s ’We Are Family’ philosophy to create a complete wraparound for its students and their families.”

I PROMISE opened its doors on Monday and will provide Free Bikes for students, Meals, and College Tuition. It will also offer Job placement assistance for the parents of the students.

The wonderful thing about I promise is that it is a Public School which will allow it to service more kids and provide more of an impact. With a focus on accelerate learning and family it will be great to see other’s follow the lead to provide better quality education to our kids.

Salute to you LeBron for being a role model on and off the court. The prime example of a true KING!
